With the Election Day just a few days away, I will make this my last post. Below, please find an overview of my platform and campaign.

I encourage you to stack up everything I am proposing against the other candidates. While I know for a fact they all have worked very hard during their campaigns, no other candidate has provided as much detail as I have provided on how to achieve the goals proposed. Our beloved city is not healthy. Now is not a moment in Windsor’s history for talk, we need action.

On Monday, October 25, I ask you to trust me with your vote and together, we can make our neighbourhoods, our communities and our Windsor better.

Liveability

• “The Downtown Windsor Farmer’s Market should stay exactly where it is”, says Adriano Ciotoli

• Adriano Ciotoli think cycling infrastructure needs to be greatly improved. This falls in line with his “Green Jobs Policy” to help lure in green research, development and manufacturing companies.

• The mentality of our current council towards the arts needs to change. Adriano Ciotoli is an avid supporter of the arts and culture in Windsor.

• While others just say big rig trucks need to stop using Wyandotte St. E., Adriano Ciotoli has created a plan that would remove them completely and create a walkable community for the area.

• Feedback Adriano Ciotoli has been receiving from residents about what would make Windsor more liveable indicate they want the riverfront parks revamped.

Neighbourhoods

• Adriano Ciotoli has created a “Let’s Help Windsor Grow” Municipal Food Plan that has received incredibly positive feedback from the community

• Adriano Ciotoli believes Windsor should invest more into our existing community centres.

Jobs

• Adriano Ciotoli believes Windsor can become to Green Technology what Silicon Valley has become to computers and electronics (an important aspect of the “Green Jobs Policy” Adriano created is his Municipal Sustainable Building Policy). During door to door campaigning, Adriano spoke with a local engineer who specializes in green design. After bringing him through the ‘Green Jobs Policy” in detail, the engineer mentioned that Adriano’s plan was not only innovative and exciting, but more importantly, doable.

• According to many small business owners, current council has not been small business friendly. As an award winning small business owner himself, Adriano Ciotoli believes he is the right choice to help them.

Change Needed

• Adriano Ciotoli proposes easy public access to councillor voting records.

• With only one councillor per ward, Adriano Ciotoli believes our neighbourhoods would be left without a voice should Alan Halberstadt be re-elected.

• Adriano Ciotoli has the ingenuity and passion to help this city thrive. He has been nationally recognized as an innovator.

• It is Adriano Ciotoli’s belief that silence from the Ward 4 incumbent on previous important issues can affect your safety

• One of only two Windsor candidates invited, Adriano Ciotoli attends TEDx Detroit.

• Early responses suggest Adriano Ciotoli was one of the “winners” from the speeches given be candidates on TVCogeco Cable 11.

• A steady stream of feedback to the Adriano Ciotoli campaign is showing he is gaining momentum.

• Adriano Ciotoli’s opening state and his closing statement from the Ward 4 debate at Walkerville Collegiate Institute.
