With early voting beginning this Saturday at Devonshire Mall and less than three weeks to the election on October 25, I thought I would take the time to summarize my campaign to date.
So far, I have been the only candidate in Ward 4 who has given detailed plans on what he is proposing. To me, that is a bit concerning. Anyone can say words that others want to hear, but how do they plan on solving those issues?
To show everyone how I plan on doing so, here is what I …

I recently spoke with a resident of Wyandotte St. E. in Old Walkerville. She indicated that she has to check at least once a week how far items on her shelves have moved because of the tremors from big rigs speeding by.
While the truck traffic is visible during the day it increases, and with higher speeds, in the late hours of the evening or very early hours of the morning. It is only a matter of time until it becomes more than just a nuisance to home owners and that someone’s life is put …

Last nights campaign fundraiser was a huge success and I would like to thank everyone who attended and believing that positive change is needed in our community and I am the one who can deliver it.
I would also like to thank everyone at Centro for all their hard word. The food was absolutely delicious and the service second to none.

Last week, incumbent Alan Halberstadt released a video stating he will continue his push to help small business in Windsor. According to most of those small businesses, the only push they are getting from anyone at City Hall is over a cliff.

Small businesses in Windsor gave our local government a failing grade in five categories with almost 60% questioning the integrity of bylaws and policies. This is alarming considering small businesses account for over 90 …

The event draws CEOs, scientists, creatives, philanthropists and extraordinary speakers including Bill Clinton, Jane Goodall, Frank Gehry, Sir Richard Branson, Philippe Starck and Bono.

Today I had the opportunity to go downtown for the presentation being put on by the Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association.
If you haven’t heard, businessman Italo Ferrari, along with the DWBIA is offering up space for small businesses free of charge for a minimum of six months creating a “small business incubator” on the top floor of the 500 Building on Ouellette Avenue. There are also other spaces available throughout the building and at street level.
I would like to thank Mr. Chris Edwards, Executive Director of the DWBIA, Bob Williams …

As is visible through my work with WindsorEats, I am a huge proponent of supporting local businesses. So when planning meeting sessions with the general public, I decided to go against the generic ‘picnic in a park’ that most candidates arrange and host my sessions in local establishments throughout Ward 4.
This is a unique way to get to know me as all while supporting a great local business in your community.
On August 30, September 14 and September 27, come on out and have breakfast/lunch with me. After purchasing your own …
